East Bengal join Indian Super League bandwagon

On Sunday, while East Bengal’s entry into the Indian Super League (ISL) was made official, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler emerged as the front-runner to lead the team’s Mission ISL. The negotiation between the team’s new management and the former England striker is understood to be “in advanced stage” and the process is waiting for some “finer details” in the contract to be completed.
