Like any other left-arm spinners in the 1970s, Dilip Doshi's early cricketing career too was overshadowed by Bishan Singh Bedi who formed the famous quartet with off-spinners Erapalli Prasanna and S Venkataraghavan and leg-spinner Bhagwat Chandrasekhar.
